Years and years ago the Wilkins family acquired a green bikini sporting, high heel wearing flamingo named Fannie. She gets passed from home to home with the rules that you have to display her with pride and you can't keep her for over 6 months. She has been delivered during business meetings, sent home in suitcases, given as graduation, birthday, wedding, baby, get well, and congratulatory gifts. Fannie has undergone numerous reconstructive surgeries, as she always seems to be missing one leg or the other. She saw the sites in DC with Deidra, flew south to Texas for a winter with the Shaffers, and quite possibly could be our family mascot. Love her or hate her, Fannie is here to stay.
This year the theme for our reunion was "Where in the World is Fannie?" We divided into teams and set off to find our clues to Fannie's whereabouts.

We started off with a 3 mile run/walk/bike/or ride.

Followed with an adult trike obstacle course, canoeing, and other activities to help us earn our clues.
Our team didn't find Fannie, but that's okay. She was found hiding out in Rupert, ID.
Not only do we have the coolest flamingo, we also have the best family reunions.
