Aggies all the Way!

Our boys have had a lot of fun following Aggie football this year. Chod tries to blame the excitement on Bentley, but I'm pretty sure he's the cause of it. They had gone to a couple games and finally convinced the girls to join them in watching the best Aggie team in history. It was the perfect day for a game and so we put on our blue and white and Gracie got to experience her first football game. She actually really likes to watch it on TV and enjoyed being in the stadium too.

Art Mom

I had heard that Art Mom was the best. So I signed up.

 My first lesson was on Seurat and pointillism.

 Lesson learned: 1st graders have no patience for dots.

Pumpkin Hunting

Bentley's pumpkin plant from school produced 7 squatty pumpkins, so we raced the sunlight and picked some carving pumpkins out of a patch in Richmond.

 All the pumpkins where huge and weighed as much as the boys. Which proved a problem when Chod told them they had to carry their own pumpkin back to the car.

This little white one was my pick and Lincoln was eager to carry it for me.

Commando

Somedays it is more obvious than others that this kid prefers to go commando.

Lookers

 I pulled out my camera and snapped a few pictures one morning. This guy sure is handsome all ready for school. If only he didn't pull such awkward poses whenever he sees a camera.

 And my Lincoln and Gracie. Lincoln is still sporting his "Nemo kid" hair (chemo) and loving on his sister.

Dr. Doug

If I were braver I would take a picture tour of the boys' dentist office. It is a fun and cheery place with a lot of fun details. No wonder they love going to the dentist. It is decorated in really fun colors and they get to watch a movie while their teeth are being looked at. Plus the waiting room is a boys wonderland with balls and Love Sacs to jump on.

Even though Dr. Doug's office is a far cry from Dr. Melling's, one thing is still the same. The yellow light.
